Date Night Glam

“Glamour isn’t about age, shape, or size. You don’t have to be pretty to have it, anyone can create it!” – Dita Von Teese

More sunny days are ahead and perfect nights underneath the moonlight. As flowers continue to bloom, there is a smell of romance in the air with the sound of beautiful birds chirping. All of this paired with live outdoor music, creates a lovely setting for a spring date with that special someone.

Three years ago, I did a video featuring styled outfits for “Date Night.”

Well, so much as changed since the filming of this video, I’m sure many of you have read in previous blogs. Along, with changes in life, comes happiness. With that said, loving who you are is key to presenting the best version of yourself. And….. looking your best help bring it all together.

Surprisingly, Mr. Charming has entered into the picture. So, I thought that maybe it’s appropriate to feature some “Date Night Glam!” I’m not going to give any details on how we met. That’s a interesting story for a later date. However, I will talk about some great dating outfit ideas.

If you’ve been following me since the beginning, you know how much I talk about the “little black dress.” Ladies, you can never go wrong with this look. I wore a little black dress on our first date and he loved it!

One of our favorite dating spots is The Battery. Yes! The home of the Atlanta Braves. There are so many nice places to sit, have dinner, grab a glass of wine and enjoy each other. Oh! You all know that Ms. V is not going to be on Mr. Charming arm just looking any ole kind of way. Lol. I’ll put it this way. I’m old school when it comes to dressing for a date. Skirts, dresses, and heels. Hair, makeup, and nails on point.

A smart lady once said, “You can get anything you want in life if you dress for it.”- Edith Head

Below, I’ve attached a live performance by Kelley Elle at a recent event. She performed a classic love song, mixed with some of her original music.

Btw, the dog is really cute.

That’s all!
