Christmas Cocktail’s/Derby Season December Kickoff
Oh, tis the season for fun and festivities. Some friends and I attended a hot cocoa crawl at The Betty. There was so much going on at the event. A Nutty Professor was involved with expresso. Naughty and Nice conversations were had while eating truffle fries. Later, we headed over to the Buckhead Village where there were independent designer stores and lots of hot cocoa to drink. We had a shot and did some shopping as well. Enjoying the crisp air with the harmony of carolers and the sweet beats of a DJ.
Fa La La La La…….la la la la.
And, so on and so on. Bad bad me arrived late to a gathering that I had planned. Luckily, they love me anyway. We ended the evening eating a slice of pizza and I heard a rumor that potential love is in the air……. Who knows?
December Derby Season Kickoff
Derby is less than six months away and December is the official kickoff off month for the upcoming derby season. As I sit here, planning our 2026 fashion show, recruiting models, and attire prep, I can’t help to look back on everything I got done this year. Whew….. it’s been a lot. From moving into a new space, hosting GQC first virtual fashion week, a trip to the Kentucky Derby, Tennessee, New Orleans, and costume design for two short films. All of that is not including my personal life. Trust me, I need this cool down period.
People like to ask, ” What’s next?” Just wait and see is all I can say. There’s business behind fashion and the only thing that I am focusing on is the bottom line. Creating a fun experience for GQC following is exciting, but at the end of the day business has to get done. With that said, I’m revamping the inventory for a better shopping experience. I think you all will like the new inventory a lot better.
