Standing in front of an audience cheering and clapping, with my heart racing, hands shaking. All eyes and smartphones on Valarie. As the MC approaches and ask the first question, the only thing I can remember is feeling the relief of a job well done. Georgia Queen Clothing definitely has set a new standard in receiving a well deserved respect from all!

Speaking of setting a new standard. I had no idea that one of my hand picked models is a younger cousin. Model Kenslee is the daughter of a cousin I grew up with and the granddaughter of my Dad’s first cousin who supports my shows. It’s a family affair. I’m so honored to have Kenslee model for GQC. She’s an accomplished dancer and aspiring model. I shined the spotlight on Kenslee with pride.

Let’s talk about the Brand Ambassadors and Models for the show. WOW!!!!!! Is an understatement. For the first time in GQC history, I had a group of some of the most professional, well put together, accomplished models. They represented Georgia Queen Clothing standards by displaying attitude with elegance and grace!

Brand Ambassador Chelsea Alexandra represented the pageantry of GQC. She placed top 15 twice in the Miss Georgia USA pageant. Now, she works as a journalist for Rolling Out Magazine.
Brand Ambassador Jessica Thomas represented the alternative spunk of GQC. I met her at the lake on mother’s day. She’s a fashion stylist from Chattanooga Tennessee.
Models:
AJ a former Bob Mackie model. She represented the artsy punk rock of GQC, mixed with old school charm and grace. One of the baddest! Very sweet lady.
Rebel I like her spirit. Fun, yet edgy with a little GQC elegance.
Ryan, Loyda, Tene, DeVanique, and Kenslee all represents the timeless youth of GQC. They all remind me of my younger self. Beautiful young ladies.
Fever is the international beauty of GQC. I had the pleasure of meeting her 2 years ago. It was a pleasant surprise to run into her backstage and of course I had to invite her to model. She’s fabulous.
Together we all win!
Everything is full circle at this point. GQC future is bright with plans of opening a location in 2024! I’m excited.
