I want to open my platform up for some discussion on the politics in this country and as it relates business. Unlike others, I don’t promote nonsense or rude behavior. We are still one Nation Under God and it’s about We The People, not You The Individual.

With that said…….

Sit back, grab a glass of champagne or wine as I answer a few questions that are related to the climate of our country.

Question One

What do you think about Elon running the government?

I think this is a result of too many baby boomers still holding office and not opening doors for a younger, more diverse group of people. Now, we are witnessing a member of Gen X taking over who is “unelected.” It’s an attitude of “let’s run over” to get what I want! Very rude behavior in my opinion. Very one sided as well. Especially, when you look at the over all picture of what this individual represents. No one ever questioned why a business owner/world richest man openly campaigned so hard for a presidential candidate. Why? Well, it looks like he has a new government job as “CEO of America.”

Question Two

Do you think this was coming? (In reference to the climate of the country)

During election season, I researched all sides. I watched how social media was heavily used as a campaigning tool. Election day, I experienced something very questionable in regards to casting my ballot in the machine. I told a friend that certain individuals have tricks up their sleeves. And…. Look at what we are now witnessing. So, yes I thought something was coming down the pipe.

Question Three

As someone a part of the fashion industry, how do you think fashion and fashion business will be affected with the new tariffs?

Great question! Prices are going to rise on goods. Hopefully, more designers and fashion businesses can manufacture here in the states. If not, it’s going to get very expensive to run a fashion business. I’ve restructured GQC so that we offer Made in the USA by producing small batches. Maybe, we’ll see the era of fast fashion slow down.

It’s sickening to see individuals have the audacity to operate in such a ruthless manner. Obviously, money doesn’t buy happiness and miserable people love company. People do your research and speak out!
