Hello Everyone! It’s been a while since I have posted. Someone asked, ” Are you still blogging.” My reply was, “Yes.” Recently, I’ve decided to give the blog a facelift. Just to freshing things up a bit and what better time to debut the new look than our bloggaversary! Six years to be exact. Cocktail Dress and the City will feature new, fun, and exciting things.

What would life be without amazing experiences? When starting this blog, I wanted to give my audience insight on my journey as a fashion designer. Now, I want you all to experience the fun of it all. There will be much more with events, travel, and film. Yes, I said film! Two weeks ago, I attended the 48hr. New Orleans Film Festival Awards Show where I was nominated for the “Best Costume” award. Along side director Sue Lynn Ansari (who’s been featured in Veronka Le’mere) she took home “Best Graphics!”

There will be more traveling with the fashion. GQ Clothing Boutique will reopen on my birthday, online only. I’ve added some cool features just to jazz things up. Honestly, I’m really excited about the changes. Also, the GQC DERBY FASHION WEEK is going to simple, but more spectacular in May 2027. And….. there’s a little bit more. Of course, I’ll blog about it soon!
